Child Jesus Matric Hr. Sec. School is a Catholics institution meant primarily for Catholics but open to students of other faith. The history of the school dates back to June 1985.

In the year 1997-1998 the school was recognised as a fully fledged matriculation school by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The following year witnessed the blossoming if this institution to the Higher Secondary status. This school is co-educational from LKG to STD XII. The School maintains high standards of discipline. We aim at inculcating a sound Christian and human formation for the total development of the whole person, making the student a well- integrated person, spiritually, socially, intellectually, morally and culturally well equipped and ready to collaborate with others in the building up of a just world of social order. The motto invented “Lead Kindly Light” will inspire the students to put into action the meaningful aim of real education.
